                                     Minutes of July 10, 2009 Federation meeting.

The meeting was called to order at 8:03 p.m. by President Tony Going.  Secretary Bruce Stovall, Executive Officer Forest Honeywell; Tournament Director Al Purdy and Environmental Director P.J. Bartolotto were not in attendance.

The following chapters were not in attendance: Bass Kickers; Bergen; Blazin Bass; Bucketmouth; Cullin Bass Six; Essex County; First Generation; Greenback; Hawg Heaven; Jackson; Limiters; Northern New Jersey; Over the Ridge; Sunrise; and United.
            
Based on the lack of a quorum, President Going deemed the meeting legal.

The Minutes from the June 12, 2009 Federation meeting were read by Recording Secretary Nick Angiulo.  The minutes were accepted via motion/second.

The Treasury Report was read by Treasurer Jim Bartolotto.  The Treasury Report was accepted via motion/second. 

No Tournament Report was given based on Tournament Director Al Purdy’s absence. 

Tony, on behalf of Executive Officer/Youth Director Forest Honeywell, indicated that the Federation would be donating $250 each to the two Junior National Championship qualifiers for expenses.  

Tony stated that he still has two new Lowrance DHS 5X color graphs that will be sold for $400 each.  The X-135 was sold for $200.  Also, he indicated that the Evinrude certificates that the Federation received will be used to purchase 19 Mustang automatic inflatable PFDs; which it will then sell to the membership for $150.  First come, first served. 

Recording Secretary Angiulo indicated that he was informed by the Tournament Committee that the permit for the 2010 Candlewood Lake event has been secured.  The date is May 23, 2010 and the format will be a split launch.

A motion was made and seconded to adjourn the meeting at 8:19 p.m.
